Cassie De La Roche.

Client Services Officer

I started my career in financial services in my early 20s as a Client Services Manager, beginning with a small firm in Canberra before making the move to Brisbane and continuing to build my experience in the industry. After taking time away to raise my three children, I’ve recently returned to the profession with a fresh perspective and an even greater appreciation for the impact good advice can have on people’s lives.

At Scott Wealth, I support our advisers across client administration, onboarding, and implementation - helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes so our clients have a seamless experience from start to finish. I’m naturally organised, approachable, and solutions-focused, and I love building genuine relationships with both clients and the team.

What I enjoy most is being part of a process that helps people feel more confident about their future and excited about what’s possible.

Outside of work, life is usually centered around my kids. I also spend my time catching up with friends over a glass of wine, keeping active with pilates, and planning where I’d like to travel to next.

In the hot seat with Cassie.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive who would it be? Why?
Probably Ryan Reynolds, because it would basically feel like hanging out with a really funny friend.

What's your favourite quote?
“Children learn more from what you are than what you teach.” by W. E. B. Du Bois. It reminds me to be the kind of role model I’d want them to look up to.

What was your first job and what did it teach you?
My first job was working in a customer service based call center. It was a role that quickly taught me patience, how to read people, and how to stay calm when you were faced with a curveball. Those skills have been useful throughout my career.

What’s your go to karaoke song?
Waterfalls by TLC, because I don’t think anyone can listen to it without smiling.

If you could live in any city in the world for a year, where would it be and why?
I’d live in Vietnam for a year. The food is incredible and the people are so friendly.
